Obtaining Registered Agent Information
Summary
Businesses must provide registered agent information as it is public record. If the corporate office is uncooperative, use the Illinois Secretary of States website or third-party services to access this information. When contacting the corporate office, mention that you need the information for legal reasons, but you dont need to provide more details than necessary. If the corporate office is in Wisconsin, you can contact them there. You can also ask for the franchise owners name to aid your search. If you have further questions or need guidance, consider consulting a legal advisor to ensure proper communication and protect your interests.Full Conversation

Hey ****! When contacting the corporate office, it's best to be straightforward. You can mention that you're seeking their registered agent information for legal purposes. This is routine and they will understand the context. If they are hesitant, you can also look up the registered agent information through the Missouri Secretary of State's website. It’s a public record. If you need more help, feel free to ask!
Well the company is in shiloh il and i called the secretary of illinois and they couldn"t help me
Since the company is located in Shiloh, Illinois, you can search for the registered agent information through the Illinois Secretary of State's website. If you're unable to find it there, another option is to use a third-party service that provides registered agent details for businesses in Illinois. If you need further guidance, let me know!
Yes but i wanted to know are they allowed to give me this information

A third-party service refers to companies or websites that specialize in providing business information, including registered agent details, for a fee. They access public records to provide this data. If you're facing issues with the Secretary of State's website, these services can be a helpful alternative.
