i started a company with my friend in California and did a verbal agreement yet was later denied existence of company fraudulently. Can I sue almost 4 years later since making deal when just last month I got my partner in continuing fraud

I apologize I meant existence of agreement. I found one text message recently a couple weeks after originally launching that stated I see why you didn’t want to put agreement in writing for *%. I also found video from launch day where my partner is heard stating he partnered with me. Also in our recent conversation I asked what is *% of company worth and he lied amount of company and stated what *% of his shares were worth. The company was also rebranded and he denied rebranding yet tons of evidence of that
