My question is pertaining to a current parent plan. I have three girls w Cohen he moved to Florida w the girls last August the court approved the move the girls are supposed to come to NH to spend the summer with me however the judge had put in parent plan I need my own stable home of my own for visit to take place however this is nearly impossible right now as I left an abusive relationship moved in with my mother a few months ago and trying to get back on my feet however starting all over again and * weeks pregnant. I reside in coos county and there is a housing crisis up here where they're very few apartments and they are very expensive. When the girls resided in NH my visits were held at my mother's home which is a stable good environment. I petitioned the court to ask if I could still have my visit at my mom's home and it was denied so I'm wondering if I can do anything else in my end?
I'm sorry to hear about your situation, ****. In cases like this, you could consider the following:
- Request a modification of the court order if circumstances have changed significantly
- Consider mediation to reach an agreement with your ex-spouse
- Consult with a local family attorney for guidance
Remember, the court's primary concern is the best interest of the children.
