Renée from Indiana. Noncustodial parent has given summer schedule and has majority of weekends and sports activities. I am not given more than 7days of consistent time with the teens. Is this allowed?

We are to follow Indiana Parebting Guidelines
Hi Renée! Thanks for the info. According to the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines, both parents should have meaningful time with their children. Generally, noncustodial parents have alternating weekends and some weekdays. Summer schedules should also balance time.
- Do you have equal summer time as stated in the guidelines?
- Is the current schedule deviating from what's stated in the guidelines?
Noncustodial has divided into equal days but not equal consistent time.
Hi Renée! Based on the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines, the goal is to ensure both parents have meaningful and consistent time with their children. If the current schedule is deviating from these guidelines:
- Are you able to discuss and negotiate a more balanced schedule with the noncustodial parent?
- Have you considered seeking a modification through the court if an agreement can't be reached?
I would like to propose a balanced schedule and the teens would as well but guaranteed that noncustodial parent is going to fight against it.
