Courts often require jurors to be available for other trials during the summons period. Follow up with the jury office to confirm whether your excusal is temporary or permanent. If the note provided was intended for permanent excusal due to your anxiety disorder, ensure all procedural steps are completed as instructed.Full Conversation

Being excused from a particular trial does not necessarily excuse you from the entire jury duty summons. Typically:
- The judge's excusal applies only to that specific trial.
- Unless explicitly told otherwise by the court or administrator, you may still be required to serve on other trials during your summons period.
If you're uncertain, contact the jury administrator to clarify whether you're excused for the remainder of the summons.

If the administrator told you to write a note to another judge, it sounds like your excusal isn't finalized yet. Contact the court's jury office or administrator directly to confirm if you need to report tomorrow. They can clarify your status.

The sfnimsyratir said he could tell I was struggling and in fear. O think the note was just a formality?

It does sound like the note might be a formality if the administrator already expressed understanding of your situation and said you’d be excused. However, you should follow through with the note as instructed to ensure everything is properly documented. If you're unsure, contact the jury office for confirmation.

Courts often have formal procedures and may require everyone selected to complete the process, even if there are many potential jurors. Your anxiety disorder may have been understood, but excusal still requires procedural steps. Follow up with the jury office if you're unclear about your status.

It’s possible the note was intended to document a permanent excusal due to your anxiety disorder. Courts sometimes excuse individuals with significant health issues from all future jury service. To confirm, follow up with the jury office to verify if this excusal is temporary or permanent.
