Okay. This year, I outed my abuser on social media. I dated them for years until * where the abuse happened. There are police reports from that time of the abuse but I stayed with my partner out of fear and not having a place to go at the time. Since April was sexual abuse awareness month, I participated and talked about my past abusive relationship. I was pretty upset reliving the story and posted her picture and phone number on my Instagram Story. My ex partner found out what I was doing and decided to press charges.
