I just wanted to know If someone undocumented can travel within the US on drive only license
Hi Sarah, to provide more accurate information, could you specify in which state the drive-only license was issued? Different states have different laws regarding this matter.
Connecticut
In Connecticut, undocumented residents can get a "Drive Only" license, which can be used for driving purposes only and does not serve as a valid form of identification. It is not valid for federal purposes like air travel.
So I cannot
fly within the US with it?
Answer: That's correct, Sarah. "Drive Only" licenses from Connecticut are not accepted by the TSA for air travel within the US. They can only be used for driving purposes.
Okay thank you
You're welcome, Sarah. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. Remember, while a Drive Only license allows you to legally drive, it does not serve as valid identification for air travel.
