I have a question regarding our immigration case
Hello ****, I'd be happy to provide some general legal information regarding immigration law. Could you please specify what your question is? Also, it's important to know your current location as immigration laws can vary by country.
We filed for my husbands green card the i130 almost 2 years ago and it is now outside of normal processing time. Why would it be taking ao long
I'm sorry to hear about the delay in your husband's i130 processing. There can be several reasons for this:
- USCIS backlog or understaffing.
- More complex cases might take longer.
- Issues with background checks.
To get an update, you can contact USCIS or consult with an immigration attorney.
Uscis is not helpful. Ive filed * referrals
I understand your frustration, ****. Sometimes, reaching out to your local congressional representative can help expedite the process. They have liaison officers who can inquire about your case status with USCIS. Also, if you haven't yet, consider seeking advice from an immigration attorney.
I have done that and havent heard anything and they wont return my calls. That woukd be mark kellts office. We have a kawyer but he is not helpful either
Hello ****, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. If you are unsatisfied with your current lawyer, it may be beneficial to consult with another immigration attorney. In some cases, a lawsuit against USCIS (known as a mandamus action) might be an option to push your case forward.
