I created a personal secretary page, that M365 copilot coded for me and I designed every detail, in commands. when it was ready to leave the sandbox, I seen that microsoft had printed created by microsoft on the footer. I discussed the issue with copilot and we both agreed that all rights to this app were mine
It sounds like you’re wondering about ownership and rights over the app you created using Microsoft * Copilot. Here's some general information:
- AI-Generated Code: Typically, the terms of service for platforms like M365 govern ownership. Microsoft might claim rights to AI-generated outputs, even if you provided the design or commands.
- Licensing Concerns: Check the Microsoft * Copilot terms of use to see if they retain ownership or grant you specific rights over the code.
- "Created by Microsoft" Footer: This could be a default attribution for AI-generated content, but it doesn’t necessarily mean Microsoft owns the entire work.
