I am in the middle of an appeal. The other side requested an extension to file the original appeal. My lawyer had 30 days to respond. He had vacation time scheduled in that 30 days and therefore filed a motion to extend the time for his response. He billed me to file that motion for his vacation time. Is this standard practice?
