Understanding Attorney Conflicts
Summary
An attorneys conflict of interest indicates a situation that may impair their impartiality, such as representing opposing parties or having a financial interest. To understand the conflict, you can ask the attorney for details, review documents, or consult another attorney. A fraudulent durable power of attorney may show signs like forged signatures, unauthorized actions, or lack of proper witnessing. For legal validity, it should be signed by a competent principal, clearly specify powers, and be witnessed and notarized if required by state law.Full Conversation
