Sports Federation Ban Challenge
Summary
Matt faced a lifetime ban from a sports federation without allegations, which was overturned in court. Despite this, the federation still denies him entry to events, claiming financial loss due to participant objections. This situation may warrant further legal action to enforce the courts decision. Consulting with a local sports law attorney in Scotland could provide guidance on how to proceed.Full Conversation
I am subject to a disciplinary process from a sports federation - they banned me for life despite no allegation against me. The ban was then overturned in court. However now they refuse my entry to every event I try to enter. They claim that this is because people are objecting to my participation, and would withdraw if I was allowed to take part. This means according to them that they need to exclude me to avoid financial loss - i.e. that they gain financially from refusing to implement the court's decision and so have no option but to ignore it
