Pack it and ship it back to them. When i got the part in i replaced the broken part with the new one. After i made the repair, i went into the range to test the crossbow to make sure it would function properly. I used a rope/pully cocking devise to cock back the string, i gave it * good tugs once the string was fully drawn to make sure the mechanism that holds the string at full draw was gonna work, then i eased of the tension i had on the rope cocking devise to se if it was holding. I no longer felt the load so i transfered the t-handle that was in my right hand to my left hand holding the other t handle to free a hand so i coukd remove the * string hooks fron the string of the now cocked crossbow. But as my hand reached the 1st hook the crossbow malfunctioned essentially it dry fired b4 i could remove the hooks from the string, firing the rope cocking mechanism straight down, which ripped the * t handles out l

Of my left hand, it ricocheted straight back up into my face hitting me in the left temple and left eye. I had a concussion, a cut on my eye ball and severe light tracers in my vision from the injury and ringing in my ears.
