On nov * * I was to board an allegiant flight from las vegas to kalispell mt with my puppy 10weeks old. I paid the $* for pet in cabin in a carry on that was to their size requirements. I waited for 3 days at the airport just for the flight. When I went to board the an allegiant employee said I couldn't board because I had a hard case and not a soft case. I informed them that on there website it said soft or hard case was acceptable as long as it met the measurements provided on their website. The allegiant employee then Told me that I was wrong and that it would have to be a soft case I asked where to get one and They said somewhere in the airport they sell them that I'll have to go find it. So now with only * minutes till take off I ran around the airport sprinting trying to find a soft carry Case for the puppy I was out of Breath sweat and profusely got back to the terminal which they just closed The Doors and said the flight took off without Me. At that point I felt so lost didn't know what to do or how i was gonna get Home. Not being able to leave anywhere on foot and no money cause all I had went for the ticket I was stuck at the airport Because they wouldn't refund my ticket. Sitting there for a couple hours a family member reached out and said that there was a flight from vegas to Missoula Montana * hours away from my destination the next day * hours or so later. I then had to borrow the money from them And book the flight. I had to stay overnight again at the airport with my 10week old puppy. We had no food or anything to drink but had hopes of getting home. It was a very errie feeling staying there Everywhere I went I had to pack my dog and pack my belongings around. Finally the next day came. As I did the day before just for reassurance I asked a couple more allegiant employees what is the right carry on case I can get for the puppy I was told to go to BLVD and get a case they showed me what they look like online so I purchased it figured boom can't go wrong now. it was finally time to board the plane. I got up to the front Check-in boarded the plane put my carry on the way dog at my feet no problems then write as take off after everybody was bored and buckled flight attendant told me her and the pilot agreed that my carry case for puppy was not there standards without even examining it once. The two ladies I Sitting in between said wbut well didn't you guys help pick it out as I replied yes and some man spoke up Replied wow the pilot even said so I haven't seen him have you guys and I thought to myself no I haven't so how would he know if it was acceptable the * ladies even spoke on my behalf. At this point the flight attendant said I have to get off the flight or she'll call security me breaking down in tears I said I don't know what else to do just take the dog so heartbroken I tried handing themover she then said no you'll have to leave too. I've never felt so embarrassed so humiliated in front of the whole plane and staff in my life. I was sitting in the front of the pland as I was Heading to the door I said I need my bag it's got my medicine and belongings the flight attendant said well you'll have to wait at the end of the terminal I'll talk to the pilot and I'll have your big right to you. Got to the end of the terminal and I knew that they already shut the door another allegiant employee asked me what I was doing I said waiting for my bag and that they kicked me off he said well they already took off so you won't be getting your bag. He also informed me that my bag was it's sufficient enough to fly with the puppy. Also as I walked into the airport everybody watching me walk up the terminal seem like stopped talking and we're staring at me even feeling more embarrassed and even more lost even to the point were I thought about just ending myself cause I felt like such a burden to my family and friends and a failure as a owner/father to my puppy. My mom was and still is in the mayo clinic in Minnesota alone recovering from surgery after fight cancer in her nasal cavity. I had to.borrow money for a bus ticket and transportation to the station to get home. I waited there for hrs with no heat or any clothes to put on cause the airline stole my bags with my clothes. I don't get scared ever really but at the los vegas station and butte montana station I was that I was gonna be robbed or worse. It took almost 40hrs to get home on the bus. I have been able to sleep or eat barely anything since the incident. They won't reimburse me for any of my tickets including bus ticket. I don't have money to go be with my mom now who's trying to recover and she's now broke cause she had to help her grown son get home. I feel like a failure and a burden to everyone and lost cause of actions of the airlines. So much time lost and mental distress that I can't describe and Sick without my medicine. I don't know what to do at this point so I'm asking for help. Thank you
