A girl at my child’s school lost her AirPods in her driver instructor’s car he then asked my child to return them and my kid said they didn’t know the person then instructor asked to return to the office so my child said ok they brought them home then next day took the AirPods to the school and forgot to hand them in then the AirPods got misplaced somehow like fell out of their pocket or someone else took them .. so they said they stoles them but got that all taken care of so their was no theft . But now the parents of the girl that lost them said my child needs to pay for them. Or they will take us to civil court. Do they have a case My child should have never been given the AirPods. And the girl should be held accountable for loosing her stuff in the first place. Not my kid
