I want to sue the Victorian Building Authority for failing there statutory duty as per the building act *. The failed to investigate complaint against a builder allowed him to reregister and then enter into a building contract with us which he abandoned with serious defects and serious costs to us. If previous complaints had been investigated he would have been reprimanded and we would not have entered into a contract with him. After his previous company went into liquidation the VBA allowed him to continue to practice
