I’m in queens ny, I had a company come and price a siding (I also had a back door installed) job on my house in August. The day before (Oct *) the supervisor also inspected the house. The next day they came at *:* instead of * am and told me that they were just supposed to put vinyl siding on top. I said no, the agreement was to remove the siding and they said that was never said to me. at that point, my husband and I looked at the walls and we saw the pipes and everything on the side of the house and there was no way you could just put vinyl siding on top of it or stick vinyl siding underneath it so we called the manager and they said that the agreement was never to remove the old siding and that would cost more money and a dumpster would have to be rented and would cost us an extra $* at that point I didn’t remember I had it in writing so we agreed to the $* do I have a right to cancel the $* charge on my credit card because we did find it in writing and it did say that the thing would removed and we would have a dumpster. The company is trying to say that because the material that was on the house was not vinyl siding that it cost more to get rid of but I sent them pictures of this the first person who inspected it and quoted the job saw it and then the manager came the day before the job, so why wasn’t that brought up before again can I cancel the $* on my credit card? .

Thank you I hired this company through BJ’s wholesale club and it’s been a nightmare. They came late every single day didn’t show up till * instead of eight and then they left their garbage in our backyard for 11 days. I appreciate your assistance.
