This is a crazy story my ID got taken by the cash register at Target last Wednesday my driver's license. They pulled the machine apart we could see it sitting there it could have been retrieved but they decided they were too busy and needed to continue with using the registers shut it down and told me to come back the next morning The story goes on and on bottom line is I have Western Union money waiting for me I couldn't see my friend in jail last weekend I can't work at doordash because the ID me no one to this date has contacted me from this store I have dealt with corporate and this is all recorded they keep telling me different stories they won't contact me it is a nightmare I have more details but this is getting too long
Hey ****! That sounds incredibly frustrating. Here are some steps you might consider:
- File a formal complaint with Target's corporate office, detailing all interactions.
- Consider reporting the incident to the police, as it involves your ID.
- You may also want to consult with a lawyer for potential legal action.
Would you like assistance connecting to local lawyers who can help with your case?

I have done both one and two I just don't have money to pay for a lawyer
It sounds like a challenging situation. If you're unable to afford a lawyer, consider reaching out to local legal aid organizations in California. They often provide free legal assistance or advice to those who qualify based on income. Would you like help finding a legal aid organization near you?
