I respectfully reject Temu’s most recent response. Let me be absolutely clear: I have never been confused about where the displayed prices came from. I don’t need Temu’s repetitive explanations. I fully understand how your platform intentionally displays the lowest-priced variant beside an image of a completely different, more expensive item—to mislead shoppers. You add multiple products into a single listing so you can manipulate the price shown—baiting consumers with the lowest-cost item, even when the image doesn’t match. That’s not an accident. You do it on purpose.

Your traffic, trust, and credibility are declining for a reason. That’s not coincidence—it’s your own strategy backfiring. These tactics violate both federal and state laws, including: FTC Act (* U.S. Code § *) – bans unfair or deceptive practices in commerce FTC Bait Advertising Rule (* CFR § *) – prohibits advertising one product while pricing another FTC Junk Fee Rule (* CFR Part *) – requires full and honest price disclosures

Texas DTPA (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § *.*) – prohibits misrepresentation, bait-and-switch, and failure to disclose material facts I have already rejected every store credit and prewritten explanation Temu has offered. None of them address the actual legal violation or show any intent to correct the issue. I am now moving forward with escalations to the FTC, Texas Attorney General, and additional regulatory bodies. Temu has now been explicitly informed that these practices violate U.S. law. Continuing to use them knowingly constitutes a willful and continued violation—which carries increased legal exposure.
