Hi ****! Could you tell me what specific issue you're facing with your financed used car? Are there problems with the car itself, the financing, or something else?
i financed a used car *.5 years ago and still owe much on it. I have come to find out the frame was damaged before I bought it and is now causing other problems with the car. Is there any recourse I can take at this point?
Hey ****, it sounds frustrating dealing with the car issues. In British Columbia, you may have some options:
- Check if the dealership violated the Sale of Goods Act, which requires goods to be of merchantable quality.
- Review your purchase agreement for any warranties or guarantees.
- Consider legal action for misrepresentation if the damage was hidden.
Have you tried contacting the dealership or the financing company about these issues?
I haven’t tried to contact the dealership yet. I wasn’t sure if I was entitled to any reconciliation.
