I ordered an item, but the company took to long to send it to me so i asked them to cancel my order and refund me, as i never recieved the item anyway. They refunded and cancelled my order and i recieved emails for my records.
Hello Anne,
It seems that the issue has been resolved as you've received a refund for your order. Is there any other problem you're experiencing related to this matter?

the company sent me the item days after my order was cancelled
Hi Anne, in New Jersey, you have the right to reject the unwanted item. You may:
- Contact the company and inform them about the situation
- Request they pay for return shipping
- Keep a record of all communication
It's important that you do not use the item to maintain your rights.

I'd like to know, if i have to send back my item as i no longer had an order with this company and they sent it to me after my order was cancelled and refunded
In New Jersey, the law states:
- If an unsolicited item is sent to you, it's considered a gift. You're not obligated to return it.
- If the sender demands payment, it's not required.
- You can ask the sender to take it back, but they should cover shipping.
Always record communications for future reference.

That's perfectly fine, Anne. According to New Jersey law, you are entitled to keep the item. Just make sure to keep all records of communication with the company for future reference.
I ordered an item, but the company took to long to send it to me so i asked them to cancel my order and refund me, as i never recieved the item anyway. They refunded and cancelled my order and i recieved emails for my records.A few days later, the company send me the item after my order was already cancelled and refunded.I'd like to know, if i have to send back my item as i no longer had an order with this company and they sent it to me after my order was cancelled and refunded, as I'd like to keep the item and dont want to send it back. Legally speaking, does this count as unsolicited if i had previously ordered the item, and then cancelled my order and was refunded?
Yes, Anne. In New Jersey, this would still be considered unsolicited since the order was cancelled and refunded prior to the shipment. You're entitled to keep the item without any obligation to pay for it or return it.
