Legal Grounds For Lawsuit
Summary
You may have grounds to sue based on breach of contract, as the owner failed to provide the agreed-upon parking space. The municipal judges involvement may indicate a conflict of interest, and using the parking lot for personal business while leasing it to you could be considered unfair business practices. Can you tell me what grounds I would have to sue on in this situation. I work at a man camp in West Texas, where the local municipal judge is also the manager of the man camp the owner of the man camp has rented the parking lot to my boss for the last two years for my boss to use his parking lot to sell RVs And my boss has spent a lot of time and money and resources to apply for our dealers license to buy and sell RVs and the application for the dealers license required a lease from the property owner, which would be the man camp owner stating that both parties were in agreement that we would be renting the parking lot for the next two years because the dealer license application required that we stay at the same location for two years so my boss, for the last two years has rented the parking lot for $* a month paid to the owner of camp And the municipal judge, was also the manager of the man camp, decided to take portion of the parking lot to put her food truck business on and now has taken even more of the parking lot to start a propane business, which is leaving less and less room for our RVs That my boss pays for. The contract that was agreed to by both parties for the two year term was notarized by the municipal judge, who is the manager of the man camp, who also has businesses in the same parking lot how could I use this situation legally to my advantage? I am assuming that this notary is a conflict of interest
