Lost Sports Cards Resolution

Summary

Signing an agreement with Gamestop likely transfers ownership of your sports cards to them in exchange for compensation. If you later find the cards, you may not have a legal claim to retrieve them. Consider consulting a local attorney to review the agreement before signing. Contact the Maryland State Bar Association for attorney referrals or Maryland Legal Aid for free legal services if you qualify.

I had an issue with Gamestop and PSA Submission. They lost my sports cards, and are willing to give me the fair market value of the cards. They also want me to sign an agreement stating that these cards are now theirs after they give me the money. if I file a police report stating that my cards were stolen, and I happen to find them later on down the road, can I still try to get these cards back after I have signed this agreement?
