It was reported that my person was involved in a hit and run incident, he gave the police a location, that he was walking, the colored car, and how the car was driving and turning on that street. He also suffered injuries which of course resulted in him being hospitalized. Days later police found no evidence of the incident on surveillance footage. Police are not accusing him of anything and are willing to help him. However he’s also in an abusive relationship with his partner and there’s a good chance she caused him harm and pressured and manipulated him into giving police false information about the incident occurring by his home while also withholding information about what really transpired. He did not tell police about his whereabouts, that he was biking when this happened, and what led to this incident. So that’s what I’m wondering these are signs that he’s experiencing victim tampering. Thanks

Also I wanted to add that even in the aftermath when he was talking with others about the situation on his return back to competing, he was still sticking by the false narrative that the incident happened by his home despite no evidence found.
Persisting with false narratives can be a sign of manipulation or intimidation. It's crucial he speaks to a legal professional. Would you like information on local legal services or legal aid in Texas to help him with his situation?
I agree there’s no way he’s not being pressured here. Because at first when I found out no evidence was found, I was like why would he say that to cops, then I realized that he’s not randomly saying that and is covering up for a reason because it’s not like him to falsify a police report. So that’s when I knew that he was being pressured and manipulated into providing information over to police. His PR team

His Pr Team said that the reason no evidence was found was due to being medicated or new to the area he moved to, but none of that aligns with someone sticking by a false narrative and covering up what really happened against their will.
