I am female 18 years old. * Years ago someone I know and me were going swimming. I was 14 years old, the other person was 24 years old. When changing in the cubicle, the 24 year old person's phone was in their shoe with the main camera facing upwards, the shoe was shoved partly underneath the cubicle dividor. I had the feeling they were recording me when I was undressed. It could have been nothing, but maybe they have recordings of 14 year old me, undressed, they were 24 years old.
That sounds like a concerning situation. In the Netherlands, recording someone without consent, especially a minor, can be illegal. Here are some steps you might consider:
- Report the incident to the police if you suspect illegal recordings were made.
- Collect any evidence or witness statements that might support your case.
- Consult with a legal expert to discuss potential actions.
