Lawyer, Expert in family, criminal, consumer protection, and business law Available *,* Satisfieey for perhelp with your legal question? My friend is going through a bitter divorce with his ex wife. Judge gave him Tuesdays and a Thursdays to start out to see his son for a few hours and she hasn't followed his order for about a month now. My friend stays at my house alot and month or two ago I was going through my security camera and noticed I had pics of someone standing outside my window at different times in the night which I believe it's her. She drives by at least * times a day with no reason to be driving by that much. Now I'm noticing strange things in my back yard on my security camera and my motion and lights in my back yard being shut off or moved. Im pretty sure she stalking my house and sneaking over here to see if he's here. I have no trespassing signs marking our property as well. I'm wondering the best course of action because this has to stop and I don't want her to think she can get away with this or escalate to get away with more. I want to file a police report. I don't know if I should go about it as trespassing or stalking or just report suspicious behavior and if the cops can catch her if she hides or runs if I call the cops which Im worried she will do. I Shes drove by over * times. I know she's been in my barn and garage messed with my tools, outdoor lights, cameras, shes cut down trees and brush to help her conceal her hiding out there. I'm pretty sure she opened up my dog pen and he got out but I'm not *% on that the rest I am sure. I know she will run if cops pull in the driveway. I'm also worried that it will make things harder for him at court if I file a restraining order against her. But I have to do something because this has to stop.
