School Suspension Appeal Options

Summary

In Florida, schools often have zero-tolerance policies for fighting. If your child is suspended for self-defense, you can request a formal hearing to appeal the suspension. Consulting a lawyer for advice and discussing resolution options with the school are also recommended. Prepare any relevant evidence, such as video footage, for the hearing or legal consultation.
