I was a victim of an employment scam. The potential employer sent funds to purchase computer equipment as well as the vendor. I deposited the money into my checking account. Then was instructed to send funds to vendor for the purchase of equipment. Days later my bank informed me the deposited check was fraudulent. I don’t have the funds to cover the check. The bank may take legal action against me. What can I do?
