Moving to my concern on the severance, the person who was let go also had the same leadership title of Vice President and been with the company for *.5 years. He communicated to me that he was given a *-week severance and negotiated more Cobra before signing off the severance agreement (he said not sure if his age played being 57 years old). Looking at my severance, being that I held a similar leadership role and been with the company close to 5 years, I was given *-months of severance (*-weeks/year). Initially they were not paying me on my yearly bonus but after asking for it, they agreed to pay *% of it.
