Hello, In short, in my place of work shift swap is a common thing. Recently shifts swaps were banned due to operational needs although dueisg shift swap, * people will still do both shifts just other way around, there's no uncovered shifts at all. Managers got angry with having to change rosters often due to swaps people request so they started asking for a reason of swap. I don't agree on company knowing my own private reasons for swapping, they did however accept if reason would be medical and word would usually suffice. I don't want to lie that is medical reason even when it's not, I simply don't want to tell my reason. Do I have grounds for disobedience by not giving a reason out when asked? I simply don't want to tell them. Shift swap would still ensure both shifts in question are covered. Thanks!
