Summary
In Kentucky, employers can set their own attendance policies. Hello Mary, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. In Kentucky, employers are generally allowed to set their own attendance policies. However, for your unemployment claim:
- You must be unemployed through no fault of your own.
- You must be able to work, available for work, and actively seeking employment.
If your claim is under fact-finding, it means they're still determining eligibility. You can appeal if denied.
