This is Jerry E.Crowell, I live at * N. River St., Apt. *, Aurora, IL I am writing to you to let you know that I was falsely accused of sexual harassment. Natalie, which is the security in this building, had asked me to work three days a week cleaning the hallways and the elevator And the foyer and the laundry rooms. She said that I would have my rent paid for by doing this. I started doing this Job on October * of *. Then she decided to ask me to do more, which was not part of the deal, but she did say that she would pay me also on top of the paying the rent. Unfortunately, there is no written contract on this. I took her word. I was on call */* and when she couldn’t make it, she would call me. As time went on, I realized that she was not going to be keeping her promise so I held back from going into people’s apartments I’m doing a lot of the stuff that she was asking me to do and getting no money for doing it.  I had told her that I wanna get paid for all this that I’m doing for you. She got upset That I said no when she would ask because I said I wanted to get paid that was what she had promised me. So on July *, * she had terminated me from my position due to job abandonment. When I was working back on July *, there was a phone in this couch that was in the garage because someone went to throw it out. I took the phone that had the SD card and I put it in my phone to see who the phone belongs to so I could return it. When I looked at the pictures to see if I knew who it belong to it, belong to the person who I had helped in their apartment, her and her husband were friends with me. I return the phone to her and realized I forgot to put the SD card in there, so I told her I would bring it back to her and she said thank you. At this time I did not know there was a problem. I gave her the SD card back, and I had mentioned to her that she should be more careful with her device, because if it’s in the wrong hands, they could do things with it due to the fact she had pictures on there of her and her husband. She said well thank you very much and that was it. To my surprise I got a second notice from Natalie stating that I had 30 days to move. And that I had sexually harassed and bullied someone. Natalie never took the time to bring me in the office and talk to me about this incident. She never told me that I was being recorded or videoed when she was asking me the questions about the phone and SD card. When talking to Natalie, I had mentioned what I had said to the lady that I gave the phone back to about how she need to be careful with her phone. In stating this to Natalie I had said I could’ve blown it up all over the Internet but I didn’t with that said, I would never do anything like that. I was here to help the people of this apartment building because everybody was having issues in their apartment with sinks, tubs toilets, walls, ceilings holes, and I was the one coming to help fix it and make it better for them. They all were thankful for me doing this. This was done in an unprofessional way. She not only gave me this paperwork, but she also gave my girlfriend that lives at apartment *. If I come stay with her because I’m kicked out of * that she would also be kicked out as well. This was done in an unprofessional way. Natalie never gave my girlfriend Laura heads up of what was going on. She just stuck the paper on her door, leaving her to feel anxious, upset, and not knowing what was going on. This is caused a lot of grief, a lot of stress, and this should not have been. Natalie went by he say she say with no proper investigation on this issue, but instead she took the girls side. I never sexually came onto her never said anything sexual to her. I just gave her her phone back and told her to be careful with her phone to make sure that she doesn’t end up in the wrong hands. I like to know what my rights are here I feel that before she kicked me out, she should’ve actually looked more into this, but she did not. My phone number is *-*-* Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you Jerry E. Crowell.
