I applied for the family leave act via my job and was denied. I was trying to get intermittent leave to be able to take my elderly aunt, who I am her caregiver and have medical power of attorney for, to doctors appointments. Since my aunt is not my parent and never raised me as a child I was denied. What can I do now?
