Hello Chris, nice to meet you. How can I assist you with your legal issue today?
I was employed with a consulting company for a contract position that was to last atleast 6 months, it was *% travel 5 days per week (all airline travel), *.5 months I was on location and my alarm did not go off due to my phone dying during the night without my knowing. It was plugged in and charging but apparently the outlet in the hotel room was old and the cord unplugged. I ended up Arriving * hours late after speaking to my supervisor we decided I would stay at the location * hours after to make up for the lost time in the morning. When I arrived back to the hotel I got a call from my supervisor telling me I was being let go due to being late that morning. The employer gave a reason of unsatisfactory work performance to the unemployment office. A little more background, I was to be onsite at 830am */*/* yet I did not arrive to the site/work city hotel until 2am on */*/* due to fight delays. Will I be denied unemployment benefits do to this because either the separation reason or the face it was a contract position
