Dear Sara,
As requested, I am providing my statement regarding the ongoing investigation.
On the morning of * October, I was in Aliia’s office for a meeting and was not aware of any conversation or incident involving Mowafy and Sami at that time.
In the afternoon, I was not in the office. Upon my return, I was at my workstation with my AirPods on when I noticed Sami moving from his desk toward the hallway. I heard him speaking in Arabic to Mowafy in a loud voice, mentioning something about an email that needed a reply. At that moment, I did not have any context regarding their conversation.
Additionally, during today’s meeting at the HR office, a question was raised about a past incident where Sami allegedly exposed himself to Mowafy. I can confirm that I witnessed an interaction where Mowafy was near Sami's desk, and they appeared to be joking with each other in a mix of languages. At one point, Sami briefly exposed himself to Mowafy. I later saw Mowafy return to his desk.
Please let me know if further information is required.
Best regards,
****
