Unfortunately we are not able to approve advanced sick leave as this would put you in a negative balance for a year and a half and do not find that to be in your best interest. Please consider appropriate leave such as sick, annual, LWOP, etc.

Thank you for your response regarding my request for advanced sick leave. I would like to respectfully request reconsideration based on the following points:
In the past, I have been granted advanced sick leave due to my personal medical situation and have successfully participated in the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program for similar circumstances, including an instance where I was out for a longer period of time. I have also applied for advanced sick leave in conjunction with transferred leave from the program. Additionally, I have consistently repaid any advanced sick leave previously granted and have had no issues with leave repayment.
Given that any advanced sick leave would be offset by both the leave I accrue moving forward and the transferred leave, I respectfully ask that you reconsider the decision in light of my past history and responsible leave usage.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I greatly appreciate your review of this request - here is my response
