I was my brothers legal guardian and he passed away a year ago he was receiving medical assistance I had no knowledge that if there's anything left in the checking account which was shortly between the two of us that they were recover the money the money was not left anyone I was not paid for caring for him but the money that was left into account it did go to me and I used it a year later medical assistant saying they want to recover it I had no knowledge that this is what they would do I didn't understand what did I know that if a person dies medical assistant wants you to pay back and I'm just now hearing about this a year later what should I do?
