Hi Abby! What kind of legal issue are you dealing with? Family law, employment, criminal, or something else?
So, i left an 8 year toxic mentally and physically abusive relationship on august 7th. I hadnt officivally moved out until a few weeks later. On august 12th, my ex's sister filed for emergency custody saying I abandoned my kids even though I had asked her to take them until I was stable enough to care for them. On her court documents and under oath, she said I had made no effort to see or talk to my kids. I have a text from the same day, time stamped at * minutes before she wrote down that i made no effort, of me asking to call my kids. Help. What do i do? Its been 2 months since I left
