Spousal support in Ontario depends on several factors, including:
- The length of the marriage (10 years here).
- Any financial disadvantage you suffered due to the marriage.
- The income disparity between you and your ex-spouse.
- Your ability to meet basic needs despite child support payments.
You may have a case, especially if there’s a significant income gap. It’s best to consult a family lawyer for a detailed assessment. Do you want help connecting with one?
