I need help with a child support appeal
I'm here to help, ****. Can you please provide me with some more details about your child support appeal?
I am a *% total and permanent disabled veteran who just ended homelessness in *. In * I was served papers from child support. The child was already 14 years of age when I was served. The courts ordered an amount of $*.* in which they were made aware that the amount would place my family and I back into homelessness. Not only that, paternity wasn't established until Feb * but the courts ordered retro back to Dec. *. I am only my VA disability compensation to provide for my family and I. The petitioner household income was almost 3x mine. The petitioner also committed child support application fraud by concealing thousands of dollars, and claiming hardships that her bank statements showed had been paid months prior to her opening the case. I need help, I need justice.
