Hello, I had a question concerning my child support case. I'm a * yo man who lives in Georgia all my life. I pay support for my daughter who was born in and always lived in Nebraska. The court took custody away from the mother when my daughter turned 2yo and gave permanent custody of her and her other kids (from different fathers) to the mother's father who had previous foster care experience. My daughter's grandfather has had custody of her and her siblings all their life. She turns * this year on July 19th. I know I will have to pay my past arrears balance off even after she turns * but does my current support obligation stop at * because I live in Georgia and have a case here or does the child support stop at * because she lives in Nebraska. I also heard that if a child goes to college, fathers may have to pay through their college education. Thank you for your help.
