Divorce Agreement Court Validity
Summary
The enforceability of a unique divorce agreement in Indiana may be challenged due to its unconventional terms. Indiana courts prioritize the best interests of children in custody and support decisions, and may not enforce agreements that waive fundamental rights. Fundamental rights include due process, equal protection, privacy, and parental decision-making. Legal advice from a local attorney is advisable to understand how these rights apply to your situation and the potential impact on modifying a divorce order.Full Conversation
