I need to get my abusive ex boyfriend to sign his name off of my mortgage/deed, he made me put him on it by force while I was in an abusive relationship with him. I got a protection from abuse order on him in * which evicted him but his name is still on the house and he refuses to sign it off. He has liens on my house in his name. Still abusing me and messing with my finances 3 years later

That’s what I’m doing now. I applied for legal aid and pro Bono, but haven’t heard anything. I’m trying to refinance and this is holding it up and I’m financially in trouble if this doesn’t go through… I’m broke!

I bought the house in * on my own with my kids with my SSI back pay. I’m disabled. I refinanced on * January and added him as co signer

They are working with me on the refinancing we’re trying to do now which is taking all my credit and loans and stacking them onto my mortgage to pay them off, because I fell behind because my husband was out of work etc

I have no contact with him. The 3 year PFA I had against him expired in June

The PFA is all I have. He was removed from the house and told to stay away for 3 years because he broke my nose with his phone and that wasn’t the only time. The police were called many times and there’s police reports that will show long term abuse

I wasn’t aware that I could. It feels like he’s still abusing me because I’m still responsible for him not paying anything he’s responsible for. The $*,* that my insurance company settled with PPL is from him taking my car in * without my permission and hitting a telephone pole and totaling my car

He was arrested for that. And again I’m December of * for destroying my house. I pressed charges both times

He went to court and they had him do some sort of program, he was on probation, I was trauma bonded to him from *-* so I helped him out of most of it like an idiot
