False Dcfs Reports Consequences

Summary

Filing false DCFS reports is illegal in Illinois. You can report such actions to local law enforcement or file a complaint with DCFS. DCFS cannot remove children without a court order unless there is immediate danger. If you feel your rights were violated, document all interactions, file a complaint with the DCFS Office of the Inspector General, and consult a family law attorney. For complaints, you can contact the OIG at 1-800-722-9124 and provide clear details about the misconduct.

Multiple false DCFS calls from ex regarding our daughter that i raise.
False DCFS reports can be very stressful. In Missouri, knowingly filing false child abuse reports is illegal. You may want to:
- Document every false report and its outcome.
- Report the false claims to DCFS or law enforcement.
- Consider seeking a restraining order or legal action for harassment.

DCFS workers threatening removal of children and forcing me to take drug test even tho that was not the reason they were at my house on the paper i was provided
DCFS workers must follow proper procedures. In Missouri, you have rights during their investigations:
- They cannot remove children without a court order or evidence of immediate danger.
- Drug testing usually requires consent or a court order unless there's urgent risk.
Would you like guidance on contacting a lawyer or filing a complaint?
They told me if i didnt take a drug test right then they would pull the children and did not need a court order. I took rhe saliva test but they pulled it early and said it was inconclusive then they said me not going in to take the urine test would count on palerwork as a missed appt wven though they gave me the option to do the saliva test. They then told meni had to take a urine test the ebxt day and when i todl them i wasnt going to they told me they were taking the kids and told me just to take it and get it over with so they csn close out the case

When calling to file your complaint, you could start by saying:
"Hello, I need to file a formal complaint about DCFS misconduct. I believe my rights were violated during a recent investigation. Specifically, I was pressured into taking drug tests under threat of losing my children, even though there was no court order or immediate danger. Can I explain the details?"
Be calm, clear, and provide any specific details they ask for.
