When a judge moves from a family law court to a central panel, it often signifies a broader role, but not necessarily a promotion. This transition might mean they are now handling a wider range of cases. The specific reason for the change would depend on the court's needs and the judge's skills.
Ok I was just curious because I had a family law case a year and a half ago and it said a specific judge but now its someone else. When I look up his name it now says central panel instead of family cout
It sounds like the judge you had for your family law case may have been reassigned to a different role within the court system. Judges can be moved to different panels or departments based on the needs of the court or their expertise. This doesn't necessarily indicate a promotion, but rather a change in their responsibilities. If you’re concerned about your case, you might want to check with the court to see if any specific actions need to be taken due to the change in judges.
Is there anything specific you would like to know about how this could affect your case?
