One year ago I unknowingly fell in love with a woman who is still married, she was involved in a horrific accident caused by her abusive husband resulting in the loss of her right hand, and she is now separated from her husband but residing in the same house with her * children, the abusive husband, and his parents, with no family support, living in Indiana while I am in Oregon, what would be the best course of action legally for her to leave her husband and seek custody of her children? Should she move to Oregon to live with me during the divorce and custody proceedings, or would I need to relocate to Indiana for her to be able to safely leave her current living situation?
