I have been sent a set of interrogatories and document request from my husband who is currently incarcerated for pulling a firearm on my dad. I filed for a divorce he contested it at first then ordered his mom to intervene and the court granted it. Now they’re claiming after 2 years of him being incarcerated that I’m unfit to care for our kids in common. How do I object to answering his questions and document request. He is foreign and I believ he is trying to get money from me by asking about my financial history and I don’t want to provide it. I also believe he married me under false pretense. His green card expired already and now he wants custody of our kids. He also never signed their birth certificates as a threat he didn’t have to care for them but unfortunately he got arrested 2 months after our marriage. I only been physically married to him for two months and I spent the rest of my marriage totally alone in every way.
