Summary
Lisa believes her grandchildren were illegally adopted without her knowledge or consent. She was not notified when they were placed in foster care. She has been making numerous phone calls to legal aid, family law lawyers, and the bar association but has not made any progress. She was advised to contact the Department of Human Services in both Iowa and Missouri, as they handle child welfare cases and can provide information about the adoption process and her rights as a grandparent. She was also advised to reach out to local non-profit organizations that provide free legal aid.Full Conversation
