I receive Medicaid in the state of Mississippi. My Medicaid is supposed to provide transportation to my covered medical appointments. I have made eight appointments over the last 15 months, however the transportation company has never accommodated me to get to my appointments. Eventually I ended up having to go by ambulance to the ER where I found that I had diabetes severe dehydration and had to have my gallbladder removed. Now I have medications that I have to have refilled by a primary care physician however I cannot get to a primary care physician because the transportation company fails to send anybody to pick me up I need to know if I have any legal recourse for not being able to take care of my medical needs due to lack of transportation that is supposed to be provided by my insurance company. My managed Care is through Molina as part of Medicaid
