I recently signed a lease that I pretty much didn’t have a choice to sign or I’d be homeless with children, 3 days after signing the lease I found a house and within a month I moved out. I broke the lease. But they have agreed to let me pay the termination fee of that lease with * monthly payments. Without putting it on my credit. How do I know the paper they write up saying that they agree not to put it on my credit is legit
Hello ****, you can have the document reviewed by a lawyer to ensure its validity. Also, the agreement should be in writing and include the landlord's signature, date, and specifics about the agreement. It is crucial to keep a copy for your records.
